Mr and Mrs Edward Errey
To many in East Sussex and to almost everyone in Heathfield and Waldron Mr and Mrs Edward Errey are well known, and to them both are extended the best wishes of a wide circle of friends on the celebrations on Tuesday of their golden Wedding.

Married at Hailsham on May 18, 1887, Mrs and Mrs Errey lived for some time at Punnetts Town, coming to Heathfield, High-street, where they now live, some 38 years ago.

Mr Errey is the son of the late Jabez Errey, of Heathfield, and Mrs Errey is the daughter the late Thomas Beal of Warbleton, both old and respected families. Mr Errey founded the furnishing stores and printing business in the High-street, and still takes a keen and active interest in the business.

For the past 40 years he has associated himself with local government work. He was a member of the Heathfield Parish Council, and is now a valued member of the Waldron Council serving on many committees.
