Ruby Kuns 1902-2007
Thi is a short story of Ruby Kuns and her family who were early pioneers to Imperial Valley, Southern California, USA.
Ruby was a Great Grand Daughter to Mercy Errey 1802-1851.
Her father William A. Kuns 1870-1943 and her mother Miriam Elsie Gilbert 1873-1956 along with sister Opal Lucas Kuns moved to the Imperial Vally, California, USA in about 1910 to start a new life there.
We shall let tell her own story via a You-tube TV interview by her granddaughter Madeleine Simmons who was a TV reporter at the time.

Ruby Kuns later married and we have this photograph of Ruby, her husband Goodrich Kilgore Simmons 1887-1969 along with their three children. Picture was taken about 1940.
